A strong voice for NI veterans

The Commissioner, Mr Danny Kinahan, was formally appointed by the Secretary of State for NI on 1 September 2020. This is a new Office. Society should know and have the opportunity to recognise the contribution these men and women have made and this is at the fundamental core of NIVCO’s purpose.

Challenge

Brand Fundamentals

The brand identity, graphic design and print must be representative of the veterans’ community. The Commissioner represents veterans from the three services – Army (crossed swords), Royal Navy (anchor) and Royal Air Force (eagle). The Crown, Shamrock (to reference the Royal Irish) and the Poppy (reflect remembrance). The branding colours could also reflect the colours of the Royal Irish Regiment of green, blue and red.

Clear and Strong

Following on from the brand identity and graphic design work for NIVCO, there have been plenty of promotional and branded items produced. From pop-up banners, to pens, to Posters and more. The new brand is now used across a variety of printed and digital mediums. The core message of “𝑨 π’”π’•π’“π’π’π’ˆ π’—π’π’Šπ’„π’† 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑡𝑰 𝑽𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔” is now embodied within clear and strong brand identity.
