Sure-start is a government-funded initiative specifically for families with children under four. It is government-funded and the services are completely free for families living in Sunnylands, Northlands, Clipperstown, Lovelane and Killycrot wards of Carrickfergus and in Larne’s Antiville, Ballyloran and Craigyhill areas.

Challenge

Brand Identity

Create a brand identity that will encourage parents and children to engage with the Sure-Start programme. The brand needed to be clean and concise with the customer desire to have the brand appeal to both children and parents alike. Horizon use Facebook to communicate with the parents at the moment. They also had a need to have design, print & distribution of their Newsletter, and required a new modern sign.

 

Process

Effective Design

Taking an established brand and keeping a traditional look was all-important with the rebrand of Horizon Sure-Start. From brand identity to then mapping out a system where they could communicate effectively with parents. The process of consultation concluded that an app would allow secure and effective communication with parents. Our Graphic design, print & distribution teams worked with the team at Horizon to effectively map out the Newsletter requirements.

Outcomes

Roll Out

From rebrand, to app development we have taken an established brand with a set with of communicating into a new brand with a new method of communication via an app. The next stage of development was to roll out the new brand and app to communicate via a printed newsletter to the parents that use the programme. A new eye-catching sign was created to tie in with the rebrand.
