We are looking for a talented Account Executive to identify business opportunities and build customer relationships. Reporting to our Head of Client Services, you’ll be directly responsible for the preservation and expansion of our client base. 

The ideal candidate will be experienced in sales, marketing and customer service. We expect you to be a reliable professional, able to balance client orientation and a results-driven approach. 

Your overarching goal is to identify opportunities with prospects and new clients and build them into long-term profitable relationships. You will also have responsibility for executing our internal marketing to promote our range of products and services. 

As an Account Executive, you’ll act as a crucial link between us and our clients. You will strive to understand your client’s goals so that they may be met with effective campaigns by collaborating with the creative team on a daily basis.

The Job Description

  • Create sales opportunities to attain predetermined goals and KPIs
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
  • Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships
  • Have an encyclopaedic knowledge of our range of products and services
  • Be able to present to prospective clients effectively
  • Provide professional after-sales support to maximise customer loyalty
  • Remain in regular contact with your clients to understand and meet their needs
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues to the client’s satisfaction and to maintain the company’s reputation
  • Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
  • Work closely with our Digital Marketing and content teams to deliver our internal marketing (socials, mailers)

The Person

  • Demonstrated experience as an Account Executive, or similar sales/customer service role (1-2 years preferred)
  • Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
  • Outstanding knowledge of Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs); knowledge of Adobe software such as Acrobat is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident presentation skills, and ability to build relationships
  • Organisational and time-management skills – you will need to be able to handle clients of different sizes, budgets and demands.
  • A business acumen – you have your finger to the pulse and can identify an opportunity before it exists
  • Enthusiasm, passion and a willingness to learn come as standard
  • BSc / BA or 3rd level qualification in a related discipline (Sales and/or Marketing would be advantageous)
  • Ability to think creatively and effectively whilst maintaining outstanding working relationships
