How to approve a partner request in Business Manager

When you enroll in Social Media Marketing with Platform Media, our marketing team needs access to your businesses Facebook and Instagram accounts. To ensure the security and privacy of your Pages, we manage your social media through the Meta Business Suite, so we will not require any log-in information or passwords.

To give us permission to access a Page in a Business Manager that owns the Page, you can approve our partner request within your Pages Business Manager. If you’re the Page admin, you can approve the request. These steps only apply to the person who has Page admin permissions through Business Manager. If you’re not the Page admin, send this article to the person with Page admin permissions in the owning Business Manager to get your request approved. We will ask for the name of the page you wish for us to manage and from there we will send a request through Facebook for approval to manage the Page. 

If you are a Business Manager admin, you can also approve partner requests in this way:

  1. Log in to your Business Manager
  2. Go to Business settings from your left sidebar. Then, click Requests.
  3. Click on the Received tab. You should see [Platform Media] have requested access to your Page here. You should also see information about the user who has requested access and the business they belong to.
  4. Click Approve.

You have now approved a partner request to give Platform Media permission to access the Page.
