MEET WILLIAM LOGAN
1. What do you do in your spare time?
I coach young people football and I’m involved in various Church ministries.
2. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Chicken and vegetables, I love a good, home cooked meal.
3. What made you want to become an account manager?
I have always enjoyed working with and building relationships with local businesses and being able to advise them on their marketing requirements.
4. What has been your biggest challenge so far and what steps have you taken to overcome it?
The covid pandemic has been so difficult and made business challenging for everyone but we have been able to diversify into other marketing areas to offer our customers different approaches for their business and allow us to see what works best for them.
5. What are you most proud of?
I’m most proud of the personal service we offer our customers and the social media campaign that we have produced for Edwin May VW.

Gary Pollock
Head of Client Services
gary@platformmedia.co.uk
MEET GARY POLLOCK
1. What do you do in your spare time?
Usually at home annoying my wife Nikki and our cat Freddie! When I am not doing that, I have been writing and performing stand-up comedy at clubs around NI since 2018.
2. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Steak, with a wee glass of Red Wine
3. What made you want to become Head of Client Services?
It was a good fit for me at the time after 7 years of experience in a different industry. I graduated with a creative arts degree but found a love for people and sales in my previous role, so being Head of Client Services for lots of exciting creative projects allows me to combine both worlds.
4. What has been your biggest challenge so far and what steps have you taken to overcome it?
Probably adjusting to a new working environment and dealing with a different type of client. Steps? Take it a day at a time!
5. What are you most proud of?
That I seem to be in the 1% of Ballymena folk that know their way around Belfast. That and my beard.

Rosie Hendry
Senior Developer
rosie@platformmedia.co.uk
MEET ROSIE HENDRY
1. What do you do in your spare time?
I love to read in my free time and spend as much time as I can doing that. I can be found reading anything but my favourite genre of book to read is classics. You’ll usually find a book in my handbag you never know when you can fit a chapter in.
2. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
If I could only eat one food for the rest of my life it would probably have to be Pizza.
3. What made you want to become Senior Developer?
I wanted to do this job as when developing anything for the web, the main goal should be user experience, it’s all good and well having brilliant content and flashy graphics or images, but if the user is not understanding the content or can’t find what they are looking for then it is wasted. Usability and functionality are always at the forefront of my planning and execution.
4. What has been your biggest challenge so far and what steps have you taken to overcome it?
The biggest career challenge that I have faced is making sure that I know when to stop. With my job role, you feel like you can always improve on something or tweak something that no one will notice but myself. The steps to overcome this is… well it’s a work in progress.
5. What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of my ability to adapt to different situations which means that I can mostly overcome any challenges that I face whilst learning how to do something in the process. Every day is a school day.

Andrew Allen
Digital Marketing Manager
andrew@platformmedia.co.uk
MEET Andrew Allen
1. What do you do in your spare time?
I really enjoy music of all kinds. I have stacks of vinyl records and I try to get to live gigs anytime I can. I also collect vintage cameras and enjoy experimenting with film photography.
2. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A BigMac meal, a large BigMac meal. With a Diet Coke.
3. What made you want to become an digital markting manager?
I’ve been working in the media for a long time now, various different organisations, in different roles. I want to use all the different skills I’ve acquired throughout my career, together, and challenge myself in a growing and ever evolving industry.
4. What has been your biggest challenge so far and what steps have you taken to overcome it?
Teaching. I had the opportunity to teach and lecture to Undergraduate students, but prior, I had never done any kind of public speaking. Teaching grew my confidence as a public speaker and educator, and improved my ability to share information in an engaging way.
5. What are you most proud of?
I had the privilege of working on the Causeway Screen Project, showcasing the north coast to global production companies, driving popular film, television and sport to region.

Aliyah Tuansi
Digital Marketing Executive
aliyah@platformmedia.co.uk
MEET Aliyah tuansi

2. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Rice. Always Rice.
3. What made you want to become an digital marketing executive?
I love creating content, writing, being part of influential conversations and helping businesses along the way.

I am fortunate enough to have a peaceful mindset and have experienced little big challenges.
5. What are you most proud of?
I’m most proud of the connections I’ve made with inspirational people in the creative and digital industries. Their invaluable lessons have greatly improved how I approach work and life.

Eoin Tumelty
Senior Designer
eoin@platformmedia.co.uk
MEET EOIN TUMELTY
1. What do you do in your spare time?
I’m a family man first, so most of my spare time is spent with my wife and two children. We like to spend most of our time outdoors either walking, swimming in the sea or going on holiday. I also love to play football as much as possible.
2. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Hard choice, but I’ll go with lasagne – but from Italy.
3. What made you want to become an graphic designer?
I’ve always had an interest in both art and computers and graphic design married both interests. I initially started my third-level education in engineering but changed after a year as I knew graphic design was what I really wanted to do. I’m passionate about design and love seeing my concepts and ideas grow, and eventually, come to fruition in a real-world setting.
4. What has been your biggest challenge so far and what steps have you taken to overcome it?
I haven’t had any real challenges so far within Platform Media, but I’m sure there will be some in the future. My way of dealing with all challenges is to stay calm and tackle problems one step at a time. I always say ‘Don’t worry, It always gets done in the end’.
5. What are you most proud of?
So far, I’m most proud of the branding for Platform Media, and I’m loving how the concept is growing at the minute.

Dan Gillespie
Senior Content Producer
daniel@platformmedia.co.uk
MEET Dan Gillespie
1. What do you do in your spare time
Spare time? What’s that? If I’m not working you’ll find me out and about with my wife and two beautiful kids usually in a play park or out for a walk. I also love sports so if I’m not playing I’ll be watching something.
2. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Taco’s 100%.
3. What made you want to become a Senior Content Producer?
From a very young age, I’ve been fascinated by the media industry, starting out creating Bebo banner images back in the day before getting my hands on an old DSLR and stumbling my way into video production. At the very core of it, I think I have an innate desire to create and video is my favourite way to fulfil that desire.
4. What has been your biggest challenge so far and what steps have you taken to overcome it?
I’m fairly level headed so generally things don’t phase me, however at the beginning of the pandemic the wedding industry took a nosedive which caused me to pivot and qualify as a digital marketer which added another string to the bow, I believe this has also given me another angle to look at videography.
5. What are you most proud of?
My greatest pride is in my family, My lovely wife and our two rays of sunshine Zeke and Eden. Not forgetting my first son, Buddy, our 4-year-old Cockapoo.

Corey Stevenson
Web Developer
corey@platformmedia.co.uk
MEET COREY STEVENSON
1. What do you do in your spare time?
I enjoy walking a lot in my spare time. It is key for keeping a good mental state as well as beating the daily step’s goal. I enjoy reading books that were initially written over a Millennium ago, particularly for the insights into what human life was like in that time period, such as empires, wars, legends and faith but also for the stories and myths told in these books. Currently in a bit of an Ancient Greece rabbit hole. If I am not reading or walking, then I’ll most likely be streaming media or playing video games.
2. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Cake
3. What made you want to become an web developer?
What made me become a Web developer was a passion for creating bespoke solutions with the user in mind.
4. What has been your biggest challenge so far and what steps have you taken to overcome it?
My biggest challenge has been adapting to working within a team of creatives, coming from a perspective of building projects entirely myself. I believe the biggest step to overcoming this is ultimately just collaboration through communication, discussing the project, coming to a conclusion, then execution.
5. What are you most proud of?
What I am currently most proud of is the first site I worked on, especially after hearing how pleased the client was with it.

MEET PAUL DONNELLY
1. What do you do in your spare time?
Who has spare time?? I have a bar & restaurant I have owned for 20+ years so can usually be found there.
2. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Hmm I do love strong flavours… wine and cheese, both of the dairy and music variety.
3. What made you want to become an creative director?
I was always interested in computers, business and property for as long as I can remember. I have enjoyed building a portfolio and the main aim is to have enough to pay off the mortgage one day and spend some time in the sun!
4. What has been your biggest challenge so far and what steps have you taken to overcome it?
I was paralysed when I was younger and then in a wheelchair and literally taking a few steps and building up to walking again was the challenge! I always think you must have the outlook that these things are sent to try us and getting through them makes us stronger. Also, we should be grateful for all the things we take for granted… There will always be people worse off than ourselves.
5. What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of my family. I have an awesome wife Emma and two super kids, Jack and Molly. Sure, isn’t that what it’s all about… I am also proud of what we have achieved at platform media that Noel and I have built over the last 10 years.

Noel Anderson
Managing Director
noel@platformmedia.co.uk
MEET NOEL ANDERSON
1. What do you do in your spare time?
I am a father of 3 beautiful children and a husband first and foremost. I spend as much of my spare time as possible with my wife and children. We love parks, open spaces and the sea, bodyboarding has become a firm favourite in our family life. I also enjoy playing golf and going to the gym.
2. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
This is a hard choice to make. I really love the fajitas my wife makes, the sweet chilli chicken my mum makes, and Chicken tikka masala is my favourite takeaway meal. So, it depends on who is asking really…actually, I’ll just go with the Fajitas.
3. What made you want to become an managing director?
I think initially I was at a bit of a crossroads. I had worked for Postal Sort (The Postal Group / Mail Matters in Belfast) and having left in 2010 I ended up interviewing for a job, which I didn’t get. An idea came to start a Voucher based advertising platform and it went from there.
4. What has been your biggest challenge so far and what steps have you taken to overcome it?
To start simply, in particular, the first 3 years of business were extremely tough and the biggest challenge. I worked every hour available, and it was extremely tough on my wife and my family. I had played Irish League football up until then and it really suffered too. I think it would be churlish of me not to say that without my wife’s and my family’s support (and Free work!) During those initial years, I would never have been able to continue trying to make a business that was worthwhile to me, never mind anyone who would work for me. We now employ 14 people, and we also are a significant contributor to some of our supplier’s turnover. The last 3 years have represented a new challenge, becoming a digital marketing company and expanding on from our traditional services of Graphic Design and Print.
5. What are you most proud of?
I’m just delighted to be able to say we’ve managed to operate for over 11 years and are continuing to grow and expand our client and service base. As we open into new markets and bring on more talented people, I’m excited and proud to see where it’s taking us.
